This wildlife itinerary is focuses on a much-loved Costa Rica animal: the sloth. In this nature tour, we've included locations where both species of sloth thrive. From the vast waterways of Tortuguero to the foothills of Costa Rica's most infamous volcanoes. Whilst we cannot guarantee sightings, this journey aims to increase your chances of seeing a wild sloth (or two). 

We're Going on a Sloth Hunt
Costa Rica is home to two species of sloth: the two-toed sloth and the three-toed sloth. This 15 day nature itinerary combines some of the very best locations to see sloths in Costa Rica, with plenty of action and adventure along the way. Will you spot a two-toed sloth on a night walk in Tortuguero, or will you glimpse a three-toed sloth munching a cecropia leaf as you float down the river in Boca Tapada?
